The Fetzer Institute asked us to tell a story that sits at the intersection of animal welfare, spirituality, and long-held superstition. Blacklisted: The Sacred Magic of Black Cats follows House of Black Cat Magic in Asheville, North Carolina, a spiritual shop partnered with Binx's Home for Black Cats, a nonprofit that rescues and rehomes the most euthanized animals in America: black and special needs cats.
Our job was to find the human thread running through it, confront the stigma, and inform an audience. The film premiered at the 2025 Asheville Film Festival, where it earned an official selection, a nomination for Best Local Documentary, and won the Spirit of Asheville Award.

Yes. Actually, we love to travel. We're based in Western New York but go anywhere for the right project. Our documentary and Signature Series work has taken us across the country and even abroad. Travel costs are factored into every project quote upfront. No surprises.
Essentials clients receive their first ad deliveries within one week of their shoot. Signature Series projects typically run four to eight weeks, depending on scope. Documentary projects tend to be more complex and can run anywhere from eight to sixteen weeks. You'll get a precise timeline before anything is signed.
Not at all! It's actually ideal. That means we can work together to build your creative strategy from scratch, which means a clear brief, a clean baseline, and no old footage we're trying to work around. First-time clients often see the sharpest results.
